Seasonal Christmas Designer:
Baker Design Group is hiring seasonal workers to help decorate homes and commercial spaces throughout DFW. Feel free to take a look at our portfolio to see some of the work we install.
Crew responsibilities include:
- Decorating trees
- Installing and fluffing garlands
- Assisting with heavy lifting
- Completing other miscellaneous tasks as needed
Installation runs from late October through mid-December, and takedown runs from late December through mid-January. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with competitive pay.
We’re looking for candidates who are:
- Creative, reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Able to provide their own transportation
- Comfortable using indoor ladders
Seasonal Floral Designer:
We are hiring an experienced Contract Floral Designer for our fast-paced studio this Christmas season. The ideal candidate has a background in silk florals and Christmas design and can create beautiful arrangements within a specific style and budget guidelines.
This seasonal position offers 20-30 hours per week. While the role is primarily design-focused, daily responsibilities will also include:
- Pulling and organizing product
- Preparing containers
- Maintaining a clean and organized design area
- Assisting with Christmas production
- Supporting the Manager and Senior Designer to keep production running smoothly
Candidates must be comfortable walking and standing throughout the day and have the physical strength necessary to build large-scale floral arrangements in foam.
