Each year we have the privilege of bringing Christmas home for Dallas residents who each act as a stamp of joy in the midst of our favorite season. It isn’t often, however, that we have the opportunity to create Christmas for a home filled with many beautiful and luxurious residencies.
This year we were given the chance to work creatively with The Mackenzie, a high-end residential high rise that led us to the very vibrant heart of Dallas. Walk into The Mackenzie and you’ll immediately be met with warmth, unrivaled hospitality and luxury that graces every room. For this project, we were able to come alongside both the classic and elegant elements already present and capture them even further in Christmas.
And what better way to do that than to give voice to luxury with the quintessential combination of navy and gold focused around the influence of gorgeous greenery, a palette we continue to fall more and more in love with and were honored to put together for this beautiful high-rise. We also couldn’t skip over the chance to let traditional Christmas find its mark by way of a greeting to every resident making their way home.
Leading up to the parking entrance of this stunning building, 60” wreaths that hold red ribbon, berries, unique florals and complementary pinecones sit on two large gates and are humbly followed by matching drops that cling to each sconce.
At both the parking entrance and the main entrance, the quality of living offered to each resident was put on full display in the simple yet elegant elements placed very purposefully. We love the richness gold and navy provide on top of a bed of green. Instead of choosing to bury the green offered up by the pine in these elements, our dallas christmas decorators let the gold berries, navy ribbons and champagne accessories accessorize the tradition of Christmas in the most classic way.
Near the bar, a drink at the end of the day was made sweeter by the continuation of an elegant Christmas design based in a gorgeous wreath arrangement that held subtle hints of gold and garland that watched over the comfort of a warm fire on every cold night.
For those seeking after a view of the courtyard and who enjoy longing after the warmth of summer when they can take a dip in the pool, two trees furnished in gold and white guarded by nutcrackers sat waiting to be taken in. Small pieces of tradition in the deer and pine cones that were a part of this dallas design serve as a delightful reminder to those longing for summer, just how much warmth the Christmas season brings as well.
Lastly, for those who love to top off their coffee or tea in the morning or evening, simplistic arrangements and one last tree tied in the Christmas spirit all the more. These last glimpses of the season wrapped up with a bow the luxury found all around by closing with a champagne tree graced with navy and gold elements. A kind and warm end.
