Christmas Home Tours of Texas List
As professional Christmas designers, we have a special appreciation for seeing a home decorated and transformed for Christmas. As a reader of this blog, you may have a special appreciation for a beautiful Christmas home too.
We’ve pulled together a list of 2016 Holiday Home Tours all across the state of Texas so that you can be inspired along with us, because some things need to be seen in person. This idea came after seeing the beautiful Atlanta Home for the Holidays Designer Showhouse & Marketplace (shown below).
We’re scheduling out the next few months to stay in Dallas and the DFW metroplex to custom decorate homes for Christmas, but we know many of you are planning to travel to other parts of the state for the fall and winter holidays. Stopping by a Holiday Home Tour during your travels or making the tour itself be a day-trip destination sounds fun to us.
If you are involved with one in your neighborhood or city, or love a tour that isn’t on this list, let us know so that we can add it. We loved seeing that Holiday Home Tours usually benefit a cause- whether that be a local elementary school, a woman’s club, or the city. If we can do good by feasting our eyes on interior design and Christmas design, we’re in our happy place!

- Oak Cliff– Winnetka Heights Holiday Home Tour
December 3, 2016
“The Winnetka Heights Home Tour is an important event for the entire North Oak Cliff community, as it showcases beautifully how the old and the new cannot only coexist, but can in fact thrive. As our neighborhoods juggle both the growing pains and benefits of development, this tour showcases that it’s the people who live in our historic neighborhoods that truly make them what they are today. We are defined by more than a proximity to the urban center and the amenities that it brings. We choose to be neighbors to one another and to be part of a community that respects the past but looks to the future and works to make it our own.”
- Colleyville– Holiday Home Tour presented by the Colleyville Woman’s Club
“Several homeowners graciously open their lovely homes to the public for one day only to help raise funds for CWC charities. The Tour attracts over 1,000 visitors to its prestigious homes each year. The Tour showcases a variety of homes and lifestyles, from magnificent mansions to homes with interesting interiors and unique architecture.”
